New paper bead design – what have I got for you this time?
Well this new paper bead design is all about the sun – wherever it is right now!
Summer went by so quickly and we are already into Autumn here in the UK.
So, I brought the sun back in paper bead form!

This new paper bead design is fun and made to feel warm.
I used a warm orange for the sides to pay homage to Autumn.
But remember – always colour those cut edges with a matching Sharpie!
It gets rid of the white spiral you would otherwise see on your finished bead.
That’s why my beads look so clearly orange, because I colored my cut edges before rolling.

My regular readers and viewers already know how to use each new paper bead design as I introduce them.
So I am concerned that the accompanying YouTube videos could get very repetitive.
If I show you how to create the beads every time, it will get boring fast!
But of course there are always new people coming along – so what about them?
People new to the channel and to this blog and you may need instructions.
So with each new paper bead design and video, I have a new approach to keep everyone happy.
I won’t repeat the method of showing you how to cut, role and seal the paper beads in every video.
Instead, I will tell viewers there is a link in the description to a previous video, in which I show all those steps.
This way I can still show my new free designs in the video without repeating what many viewers already know how to do.
Unless I am doing something different, in which case, it will be a full tutorial.
Along side showcasing this new paper bead design – I have something extra for you!
In my last video showing explicitly how to download my free designs, I used some video of a castle while I did my voiceover.
Of course the castle has nothing to do with this new paper bead design or any other!
But I needed to talk for awhile and I had no craft footage as it wasn’t a planned video.
So I showed some places we visited in the spring and summer – and Watermouth Castle in Devon was one of them.
But I only showed the outside of it and told viewers how strange it is inside!
As most of my viewers are here for stuff about crafts, paper beading and free designs, I asked if anyone would like to see inside.
People did respond saying yes, they would so in this new video, I have given you a tour of this very weird and wonderful castle.
I have never seen anything like it!
And although I normally concentrate on each new paper bead design, or collage designs etc – I loved this place so much I am pleased to share it.
I was going to put it on my other channel, AnythingExceptHousework, because it’s exactly that, just random stuff I do instead of housework.
Unlike my main YouTube channel – this one only has 38 subscribers!
The associated blog has lots of random articles on there – so please take a look!
But in the end, I decided to just include the castle on my craft channel.
If crafty people aren’t interested, they can skip past it.
But I have a theory that people with creative minds will possibly absolutely love this very quirky castle.
It’s so random inside and nothing like we were expecting – it was quirky, creepy, fun, surprising, scary and totally weird!
Not the stately home experience we were expecting.
So even if you are here for this new paper bead design – you may enjoy a deep dive into Watermouth Castle as well!
And if you love the castle – you can even stay there!
Take a look at the fantastic accomodation they have at Watermouth Castle.
And no, they have not paid me to advertise – in fact I had to seek permission to publish this and the video.
I just absolutely loved the place – scary as it was!
Creative minds love novelty and this castle is as novel as you will get!
And you don’t even need to take time off your paper beading to watch my tour of it.
Just grab your free design, print off several copies depending on how many beads you want and settle down to watch while rolling.
I often watch YouTube while I’m making beads – it’s very relaxing.
That’s about it I think – go get your new paper bead design and go for it!
