Many people worldwide were confined to home when I first wrote this post.
Therefore it wasn’t always easy to get hold of craft supplies.
So I designed tutorials using items from around the house and I gave away free printable designs.

What if you don’t have all the other things needed to make my faux china paper beads bracelet?
As long as you have the following, you can make the faux china look for paper beads.
- A printer
- A paper shredder (or scissors and a ruler)
- A bamboo skewer or toothpick
- A glue stick
If you don’t have the tiny silver beads, craft eyelets or elastic, don’t worry.
You can roll lots of faux china paper beads and then finish your bracelets when the craft stores are open again.

Ideally, to make faux china paper beads, you will have a bead rolling tool.
However, if you don’t have a tool – don’t panic!

It goesback to when I was making paper beads this way using cocktail sticks (toothpicks).
This method is fine for making paper beads when you can’t get a proper paper bead tool.
The paper bead tools I created to sell are for heavy users.
However, if you aren’t rolling hundreds of beads, the DIY homemade version will be fine for you.
